Costing Immunization Delivery

SUMMARY

Everyone deserves access to life-saving vaccines, whether they live in Vietnam or the UK. The challenge remains, how can emerging economies afford access to essential vaccines for all? With the tapering of financial support for new vaccines from the Global Alliance Vaccine Imitative (GAVI), governments require help to figure out what vaccines cost, as well as the cost of delivery. Together with the ThinkWell and the Immunization Cost Action Network, we designed tools tailored to policymakers and researchers for estimating delivery costs. The products are the most comprehensive, current, and standardized global evidence on the cost of delivering vaccines.
